Default info needed HELP

Ok fellow Ram owners...First I appoligize if this topic has already been discussed but I need some fast answers and helpful advice.

I was just quoted $42.30 per set of molded mud flaps from the dealer I bought my truck from. He also quoted $80 to install them.

Any thoughts...it seems pricey to do the install! How difficult is it!

Anything you guys and gals can offer would be great!

Jim

I paid $80 for both front and rear and it took me less than an hour to install, make sure you ask for the premium ones, retail is $80 also.

The molded ones I had for my 03 Ram used existing holes.

mine were $90 including NY tax for front and back. I installed myself on front, tires on, use existing holes and you must drill one tiny hole for each. No big deal if I could do it. Rears I have not installed but looks like it would be easier with tires off but I still think I can do it no problem. Save your $80 on the install.

Mine are a tad different than oem, but install pretty much the same. the rears were a total pain without having a right angle drill or taking the tires off. Fronts are easy since you can turn the wheels.

I got front and rear Mopar molded flaps on ebay for $75. Installed easily. Don't waste your money.

You may want to check out this post, and for those that have had them on your truck for a while take them off to make sure it is not happening.

I paid $120 for the premium flaps installed by my dealer. I paid the extra $$ because he also took care of an overspray problem by the Line-X guy for free.

My dealer has been good to me so I do not have a problem paying a little extra.
