throttle body spacers
I noticed that Airaid just released their throttle body spacers for the 09 ram, and was wondering if it is worth buying? I do not know a tremendous amount about cars, but are the torque gains worth the $$?
Ourdealsrock.com has it listed at ~$120.00 right now..

Can't hurt. PowerAid® 300-631 install PDF HERE
"PowerAid® was developed to enhance off idle to mid range performance and efficiency. “Helix Bore” design creates a spinning action of incoming air. As air passes through your throttle body, this helical effect causes air molecules to organize and maintain high velocity. The organization and high velocity of air is extremely beneficial because it helps to provide a superior atomized mixture of fuel/air all the way into the combustion chamber. The benefits you will see are tremendous torque gains between 800 to 2500 RPM, and potential increases in your fuel economy, depending on driving conditions."

I've heard they are snake oil. Save your money and spend it on something that is proven to add ponies. IE exhaust, intake and what not.
If your truck was carbed then I could see it making a difference. How is swirling air at the throttle body help mix the gas that is being squirted straight into the cyl via injectors?
