Default Outta town. Have a question about exhaust

Roughly how much should it run to swap the muffler with a flowmaster and removed the resonator?

Thanks.

Single out or dual output? In my area, I would expect around $200. I would highly suggest leaving the resonator(s) on. It'll cost you a lot less to take them off later if you want more volume than to have them put back on if you don't.

I was going to just go with single output. I had the same setup on my 06 Hemi and liked the sound.

I have a single too with a 14" magnaflow. My stock resonator is still in place, I really don't think I'd want to get rid of it. It's a little on the loud side for me as it is now. But, exhaust is all taste, so you may want to take it off. I'd still suggest hearing it inside and out with the resonator still in place first.

I have single output now and want to add dual output. i am not interested in making it much louder. i plan on keeping the stock muffler. If i get rid of the resonator, what should i expect? a little louder? will i lose any performance?

It'll be loud in the cab. Not crazy loud but could be annoying. It does give you a nice ROOOOAAAARRRRR when you start it though.

So I got a 40 series put on today and left the resonator. I'd say it's JUST right; and best of all it only cost me $115 out the door.
