How much did you pay for your 09 Sport 4x2? (Best deals)
After much reading, I've decided to go with a 4 door Hemi Ram sport 4x2.
I've read many tactics online. Go to several dealers, go on a weekday, ect. ect. Curious to what their letting these trucks go in a time like this.
Thanks.

I got exactly 10k off msrp which pretty much seems to be the standard---you can negotiate down the dealer fee and try to get a bit more for your trade in if you are lucky. It was a loaded 4x2 sport with leather and everything. I actually got offered 11k off on a loaded laramie but the car was 6k more to begin with so I was happy with 10k off
a few tips
1--if you find a car you like at the dealership--tell them you will buy the car today if you can work out a good price--they CANT NOT STAND hearing that--they love it--it is like care salesmen crack--
2-leave out your trade until after you fully negotiate a price for your new vehicle--dont even tell them you want to do a trade--tell them you are looking for a purchase---
3-dont be afraid to walk out---if you are pretty close and they let you walk out--you know they have reached the bottom dollar offer--THEY HATE LETTING YOU LEAVE---if they do let you leave and you want the car--wait 24 hours--if they have not called you to offer you the car again at a discount--call them back and tell them you will take the car, but want a few free details and a few free oil changes--you will know at that point you have hit the bottom dollar and they will almost always toss you a few free services on top-

I also got $10k off. $40k for $30k including all incentives.
Be firm, but not rude. Be ready to walk (and mean it) if you don't get the deal you want.
I had my (car) keys in my hand and was walking out over $600...then sales manager stopped me on the way out.

Mine was $41,660 and out the door for $28,500. Did not get one off the lot...they did not have a Sport. They did a dealer trade with someone in PA. I could have had a Big Horn off the lot for a better deal but wanted the Sport.
wow...u got one hell of a deal!
