Default TPMS sensors

hey guys, i have a question about the tire pressure monitoring system sensors. i dont have my truck yet, but i am already planning a wheel change. i will have my 09 black sport CC with the 20's in about a week. i plan on changing the 20's out for 24's. i am wondering if the stock sensors will work on both the 20's and 24's or do i need to buy new ones for the 24's. the 20's will be put back on during the winter months. so can i just swap the sensors or do i need to buy new ones? thanks.

The sensors can go from wheel to wheel, but you have to take the tire off the wheel to get it. So you would be better off buying a new set for the new wheels if you intend on switching them back and forth. What size tire do you plan on running on these rims

Not sure about the years. They only started being mandatory in 2008. You could always call the dealership and have them compare part numbers.

Here's link to a set on Ebay

I just called my dealer and for my truck, they gave me the part number of 56029359AB. This part number was gotten by using the last 9 digits of my VIN so it should be a good part number.

Just an update, I just put a set of rims and tires of a 2004 without the sensors, and I'm not getting any errors on my HVIC. Downfall is it wont tell me if my tires are low.
