No console stereo install
Just a few pics. If you don't have the center super duper console that is in all the other instructions here is how to do it on yours! Just remove the rubber piece off of the dash (above the deck). Then remove the two star screws (can be done with an allen wrench). The the whole thing pops off as one big piece. Pics below and you can pop the sucker out by hand. Just start in a corner and work your way around. Enjoy! I know I'm enjoying my $200 myGiG !!!!
I also noticed during my install that we all have the wiring for the "wall socket" It's pictured in the last photo. The orange plug is just sitting in a "holster" unless you have the socket installed. Just FYI

Ebay baby! Most of them go for $450 or round about. The guy selling my made the mistake of starting the auction at $199 and it ended at like three in the morning. Keep your eyes peeled. Hope you find one!

Hi there - can you give me a little more specs on the radio - I have seen the past posts on this, but...
1) is the a RER, REN...
2) does this one also have the GPS?
3) can this handle the bluetooth if you get a mic as well?
4) just trying to get ideas on what to search for and make sure I do not buy the wrong one if one does come up. I believe I priced them at the dealer and they were coming in at like 1,000-1,200 so just a bit confused :-)

3. Yes bluetooth if you have the mic
4. Make SURE you get a high speed bus deck no matter REN or RER
5. I forgot to mention this one is two years old and STILL has satellite radio. Looks like I might have gotten a little free bonus

I would think the easiest way to tell would be to look at your window/invoice sticker and see if uConnect was included. If so then yes that sounds correct.
