more aggressive tires?
Like I said earlier, I just ordered the Cooper Zeon's for $210 a tire and should have them on by this weekend. I talked to a guy Monday that had a set on his Chevy and he said he really liked them and had 20,000 miles on them, they looked new. I think for what you are wanting, the Terra Grapplers or the Zeon's would do you well.
Just got back from my tire shop. I had them test fit the BFG A/T's size: 285/65R20 (approx. 34.5x11.5) - no lift/leveling kit and stock 20" rims - and they fit! And they looked AWESOME. I couldn't believe the difference from the stock wranglers. I was hesitant about spending the money going in (in case you're interested: $1400 all in - including trading in my stock tires. A fair deal. Not great, but I didn't get robbed either). Just looking at the numbers I wasn't sure the BFG's would make that much of an improvement (only 1.5" taller and marginally wider than stock). But wow... after seeing them on... I would have paid more.
One caveat: When I say they "fit" I mean they mounted one tire, turned the steering wheel all the way in both directions and the tires didn't hit anything. I haven't actually driven the truck with all 4 new tires yet. My tire guy warned me that there may be "some" rubbing in extreme circumstances but also said he'd be comfortable putting them on his truck. I guess only time will tell, but I'm willing to risk it... it looks THAT good. I'll try to post a picture after they are mounted tomorrow afternoon.

I had the Toyo open countrys on my 2007 and they were decent. I thought I could get something a little more aggressive without paying to much. I don't need them for serious off road but I do go on some heavy trails and sand. I had bf goodrich in the past but bell tire quoted me almost $400 a tire

I made the dealer pay for my 285/65/20 BFG ATs and level kit when I bought the truck.
BFGs are the only thing I use b/c of how long they last. At $400 a tire I am going to crap a load when I have to get new ones put on.
BIG improvement from the stock tires they put on these trucks. The 285/65/20 BFGs will only rub when you are turning and the shock compresses.

My tire guy said if I bring in the truck for a tire rotation every 5k miles that I should get at least 50k out of the BFG's. They throw in free tire rotations when you purchase from them, so I'll definately be doing that.
Jaf: those look great! I can't wait to see them on my Red Sport. Only a couple more hours!
BTW... What kind of leveling kit did your dealer install? Is it just the front strut extensions or do you have the rear coil spacers also? You say these tires give a slight rub even with the leveling kit?
