1/4 mile time
On a side note, do I have the worlds heaviest rcsb? With a full tank and me it sits at 5500lbs. WTF!!
I ran a 14.9 without using 2nd prime/full weight with no cool down/ 3.55s and 1/4 tank of gas. So Id say with 3.92s, cool down and second prime you have a shot.
The truck does not actually start in 2nd gear. Before you stage, select 2nd manually. The truck will leave in 1st and automatically shift into 2nd. Then you have to start shifting manually after that. When you're at the top of 2nd gear and you select 3rd, it will actually go into 2nd prime. Just a second or two in 2nd prime and you'll be selecting 4th, which is really 3rd. I think you'll be finishing your pass in that gear. If you simply select 3rd or 4th from the start, the truck will NOT shift into 2nd prime at all, but will shift to actual 3rd gear instead. You must actually manually shift it into 2nd prime (3rd on the gear display) to get that gear-having it in manual mode but limited to a higher gear is not enough.
I'm guessing it will make a tenth or two, probably no more than that.
As for launch, I find that running it up against the converter hard is NOT the way to do it. My truck gets it's best short times by quickly and smoothly flooring it from just off idle. Basically, I don't do much more than take the slack out of the drivetrain, then I quickly (but not instantly) floor it. I get good weight transfer that way, and it usually doesn't blow the tires away. My best short time was a 2.10, average is 2.15 to 2.20.
As for shifting, you want to shift as close to 5600 as you can w/o hitting the rev limiter. There is a delay between when you command the shift and when it actually shifts-that is something you have to learn yourself so that you can end up with it shifting when you want it to. As a hint, shifting one or two hundred rpm too early will not hurt your time as much as waiting a bit too late. Spot on 5600 is best, but if you make a mistake it's better to be a tad too early.

I have an '09 rcsb 2wd hemi with 3.92's. My best time was a 14.007 at 96.75 mph. The best time I have video of is a 14.13. The truck is as it came from the dealer. No weight taken out, nothing done to the truck that would make it faster.
