Anyone wanna trade a Sirius and Uconnect plain radio with whatever I need to make it work like the mirror and the wire from the radio to the rearview mirror. I have a plain radio amfm cd with sat but no Uconnect...the buttons there but no module for it to work. I figure if someone is not gonna use the Uconnect then we could trade mirrors and radios and the wire from mirror to radio. I will pay you my radio plus but you gotta prove your radio has both working. I could buy all this from the dealer but if someone who isn't gonna use the phone part....could trade and they could get some cash.

So to clarify I am looking for a plain not sure of code but just 6 speakers no Mygig or Nav just Sirius working. I want Sirius and UConnect. It is basically just bluetooth. So if someone has one from an 09 lets make a deal???I will consider a MyGig or Nav radio also if someone has one and could care less but still wants radio I am ready to deal.

 

the only difference between your radio and one with Uconnect is a simple module that plugs into the back of the radio and the microphone. You don't need a whole new radio to get the Uconnect. You can search Mopar parts dealers and easily find everything you need, or just trade for the Uconnect module and mic. But you definitely don't need to trade radios.

 

I have been trying to find out through the dealer what module I need, which wire and which mirror for the mic's but they want to sell me this whole kit with a speaker and its basicallly to me an aftermarket thing.
Do you know what all I need and part numbers????????

 

I have tried this as well and they suggested I upgrade the RES radio to REN or RER but looking at the mopar website I am wondering if this is all we need then...

It looks like we would need both the Uconnect and Ipod harness to be able to control the Ipod thru the radio, but just the Uconnect piece to connect the phone.

 

I am not interested in the IPOD part, I just want the mirror with the mics, the wire, the module for unconnect and then it will be as factory installed.
