check engine light with XDI install
any reason my check engine light came on a minute after i installed teh xdi true flow and turned on the truck? will it go away? Should I disconnect the battery for a while and reset the computer?
Well, I will start with the obvious question.... Did you hook the sensor back up that was in your old intake tube? Looks like it goes on in front on the first bend of the XDI.
I would not reset, I would get it scanned first to see what the code is.

It would be good if, as suggested, you could put a scanner on it and report the code. It will help figure out your problem and let others know what to expect.
Edit: Will the evic report trouble codes?

I would suggest the same, I didn't get any errors or lights since I installed mine a week ago
I've had that recurring check engine light on my truck and the only thing that has come up on the messages section is the oil change message. As high tech as these trucks are, why aren't the trouble codes and their reference shown in the EVIC?

Probably, so you'll take it to the dealer to be diagnosed and he can cash in on the repair. $$
