Happened to me last week!!!! I noticed the day before it was getting sticky. Pulling out the parking lot on the way home I had a hard time. I then got home and pulled around in the driveway. I wanted to park under the tree so I then try to back up out of my current spot and it locked up and got suck!!! It would not let me move it. It was stuck in between reverse and park. Man I was ticked. Atleast I was home so I could get a screw driver. I now carry a nice screw driver in my storage. I never took it to the the dealer because it seems to shift smoother and fine now. Next time it does happen I am though. If I was some of you guys. TAKE PRECAUTION AND CARRY A SCREWDRIVER!! LOL

It is the center console. There is a little black tap that you can pull up on the right side of the shifter. Once you pull it up you stick an object like a screwdriver or something of that sort that will fit in there and push down on the tab that is in there which releases the lockeD shifter and you are allowed to move it back in park(P)OR (N) if it does hang up on you.

If I was not at the house I am not sure what I would of used. I might of been stuck. The only thing I can think off of my head would be the attenna! haha

It wouldn't even near reach it. I am pretty sure it is also way to wide.
