Exclamation Quick Tire Question

Yes I'm working a million angles. Will a 255/75/17 tire fit on a 17x9 rim?

Rim width range is between 6.5-8.5in on a 255/75/17 sized tire. That's just a simple answer but you need to know backspacing, etc.

The Rim is 17x9 with 4 1/2" backspacing.

You might need to fit and see. The wheels you want to put on those tires are a little wider than the recommended range so you'd have to check the look and fitment once you mount them.

Crap.... buying both online.... guess I'll have to pass up the awesome deal for just a good one then. (on another size)....

So I'm guessing a 265/70/17 wouldn't fit either then huh?

265/70/17 WOULD fit your 9" Rim. Rim range is between 7-9in. If you want to keep comparing sizes to see the ranges go here:
