Woo Hoo, no dealer visit. Found the switch that tells the truck the hood is closed and fixed it.

I'm getting the same thing - I went to one of those full service car washes yesterday and the whole damned line stopped so everyone could look at it.

Next I took my wife to the dealer(not Dodge) to pick up her car after some routine maintenance and 3 dudes from the sales tent came over and asked me to open it up so they could take a look.

When I was not sure I was getting one (due to production stop) I went and looked at Chevy and Ford. The interiors and exteriors did not even come close to the 4th Gen Ram that I ordered and ended up finding.

I like when others are checking out my truck. 2 days after I bought it 2 people wanted to buy it off me, they loved it so much.

What did you think about the loaded F-150? King Ranch, or Platinum? I test drove one of those and it had a spit load of features including side running boards that moved out when you opened the door. I thought it was, almost, a little too snazzy - for whatever the heck that means. I bought loaded Laramie.

Maybe snazzy isn't the word = I was impressed with the features but I thought the interior was a bit 'stiff'.

We have not really had anyone comment on our truck just yet. However, I love loading up the family and going for a drive. This truck is the most comfortable vehicle we have ever owned and fun to drive as well. Take into consideration that our truck is just a TRX QC with the 4.7l and we are well satisfied. I think it says alot when a nearly base model truck can still provide a great deal of comfort and function. You don't find that combination in every make and model. I can only imagine how spoiled we might be if we had some of the extra creature comforts some of you other guys are enjoying. While it is the wifes ride, my personal vehicle is a 2008 Toyota FJ cruiser with a 2.5" lift and I find myself wanting to drive her truck much more than my FJ. In fact, I even mentioned to her the idea of selling the FJ. She suggested I would regret that idea. Considering the FJ is rumored to be in its final model year I think it would be a mistake.

Default RamBoxes ajar

Anyone else notice that their ram boxes are ajar after leaving it in a parking lot? i was starting to think they were popping loose while driving, but i busted a curious older gentleman looking inside one day and made the appropriate assumption.
i've been keeping them unlocked b/c i don't keep anything valuable in them. if i were a dodge salesman, i would throw a few cards in every ram box i saw...

Had mine out at the beach this weekend (just had to test out the 4x4). Nobody said anything, but I got some looks. Also went out shooting on some undeveloped property. The only thing I don't like about the truck is worrying about getting the inside dirty. Its just plain too nice!
