Default Haunted Windows

Twice now, the remote front windows have rolled down, I guess as a result of the Unlock button being pressed in my pocket. One of the times was in a rainstorm.

It's kind of annoying, and I can't see a practical purpose for it, at least not for me, so does anyone know of any way to turn it off?

I didn't know it could be turned on. I would love to have that feature for the summer months. How do you turn it on? That might tell us how you turn it off.

OK - so I RTFM and found out how this is supposed to work.

You have to press and release the unlock button - one time. Then immediately press the unlock button again but keep it depressed - and the windows will roll down. if during roll down you release the button, the windows will stop.

Didn't say how to stop this.

Yup, that's where I'm at. I think the Unlock button is getting pressed in my pocket, rolling down the windows. I've searched the manual, and I looked through the EVIC setup, but I didn't find anything.

I have not taken delivery of mine yet but I was reading thru the online manual last night and came across this

Express Down Window Feature — If Equipped
This feature allows you to remotely lower both front door
windows at the same time. To use this feature, press and
release the UNLOCK button on the RKE transmitter and

then immediately press and hold the UNLOCK button
until the windows lower to the level desired or until they
lower completely.
Its in the THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE section on Pg 24 of the manual.
You should be able to deactivate it thru the EVIC as they call it or Im sure your dealer can deactivate it for you.

I don't see how you could get it to accidental roll down your windows when sometimes it will not even unlock my doors for me when I am standing right next to my truck.
There is nothing worse than having to press the button a bunch of times to unlock the doors to show it off to someone. I have changed mine to unlock all doors just so if it decides to work once that is enough. Maybe it is my batteries though.

I am not sure how you can have the button in your pocket? Mine needs the button....no key just a plastic insert thing but I cant keep it in my pocket. Do you have push button start?
