Default Wheel spacers?

hey guys so long story short i screwed up and ordered wheels without enough offset. just wondering if anyone has used spacers before and what should i look for. i have heard some horror storys about them but i would like some opinions. thanks

I wouldn't use them, exspecially on a new truck, your better off paying the restocking fee if you have to on the exchange. Wheel spacers change the point of contact adding weight torque and stressing the spindles. I used to live in Denver where that was big at one point. It was funny to see a car in front of you that had spacers. The rear axles looked bowed. But I would see what some other people post that have more experience with them than I do, before you box them up.

I used 1.5 inch spacers on my ZJ Jeep for many years. They worked great and I never had any issues. Just make sure to buy the hub centric variety from a reliable vendor.

i have a set of 2.5'' billet spacers that i used for a few years with no problems.

well the place i ordered my rims and tires from made good, i got some 20 inch KMC XD Addicts coming now in black with a -12 offset wrapped in 35 inch Nitto Mudgrapplers!!!!

Just looked them up. Those look good, you will have to post some pics when you get them on. Do you have any kind of lift? If not, I'm interested in seeing how they clear. I was thinking of doing the same thing. Glad to see your not doing spacers, they may not matter in off road applications, but I can't see how they wouldn't mess with your wheel's camber.

ya ive got a 6inch bds high clearance lift. ill deffinatly post some pics when i get it all done

haha i will for sure. i just seen in you signiture you got the same rims i got coming. do you have any pictures of them on your truck?

Mine are the +18 offset so yours will stick out about 2 inches farther
