Got the muffler shop to put it on & asked about the resonators, he said leave them alone they keep down the drone.......Flowmaster 44's are GREAAT.

MDS takes care of the drone, remove the resonators. Havent heard a super 44 but i have the original 40 which is the next loudest and i love it

I've got the 40 too and in my opinion it's just right with the resonator on. You get the deeper tone and the rasp but it's not overpowering in the cab. RAM's tend to run loud without. But if you want people to know you're comming a few blocks away then yank 'em.

it's all in your taste OP, depends on how loud you want it.....With my 40 and no resonator it gets really loud, at some RPM ranges the exhaust is so loud i can hear and feel the cab shaking but thats what i love

thanks for the info guy's, i think i will try the muffler first and cut the reso's out later. not sure if i want it too loud cause of the little one. about how long does it take for a muffler to "break in" and loose the raspiness?
