I have a Black spray-in liner with Red specs. My truck is currently in the shop. (Stuck in 4th gear). Will post pics when I get it back.

If I could do it over, I would do Red spray with Black specs.

I had Line-x in my last truck for 10 years. It held up great but faded. I got a local guy called Speedliner to do my new truck. He did UV protection for free.

I was told that the Kevlar coating is supposed to keep the line-x from fading. I guess I have to wait and see. I'll let you know in 10 years lol, just being funny. I do hope that it does what they say though.

Well after 10 years anything is going to have wear and tear and some fading. I don't expect the Speedliner to look brand new after 10 years either. The Speedliner does have a litter more "grip" to it. That's the main reason I choose it.

Crazy as it sounds, I prefer the plastic drop in bedliner. I like being able to push or pull heavy boxes into the bed, and I like when my shovel glides easily across the bottom when im scooping out dirt or mulch. I currently have neither in my 09, so if anyone near ST louis Mo wants to get rid of their drop in when they go for a spray in, let me know.

There is no problem sliding or shoveling with a Linex. Haven't tried either with Speedliner yet. Don't suspect any issues there either.

I coated the bottom and sides first then installed the bedliner. The bedliner alone will rub and rust out your bed.

I've got a LineX in my future. A couple of my coworkers have them, and they've held up great.

whats funny is that the linex is just as "slippery" as a plastic drop in, imho..

Speedliner will give you any color or texture combination that you want. Smooth as glass or rough as nails. If I could do it over, I would do Red with Black specs.
