Unhappy This stinks!

I posted this on my "Ordered" thread but thought I'd put it here so others would read it and see what is happening. Sorry for redundancy.

Well, it's official. They are shutting down my dealership. When I started looking at Dodge trucks, there were 4 dealers in my area. 2 have since closed already and now Chrysler is shutting down mine. My salesman says my truck is still stuck in railyard in Centreville. No word on if and when they can get it. They have offered to return my deposit to me now. They offered, I didn't ask for it. I am seriously thinking about it. I don't like the single dealership that is to remain open. Been chatting back and forth with my wife about it. Can't make up my mind on trying to wait it out, or just get deposit back. If I get money back, I either get a beater truck to hold me over, or I have started looking at the Ford's (Lord forgive me) online. Man this sucks!!!!

Tell you what - I've got an '09 Brilliant Black Sport Crew Cab with everything except the back-up camera, fold down TV screen, and rear slider. I've added a Line-X spray in bedliner and a *******'s hard tonneau cover with a remote release. I've got the lifetime extended warranty also. The truck has 6000 freeway miles on it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the truck, I just haven't bonded with it - I'm going to get another GMC 2500HD with the Duramax again.

Ezjeeper, if you are interested PM me.

Can you talk with your dealer and ask them to put together an iron-clad sales contract- post dated - that gives you the truck you want with the down payment you made? That way you can take it to any other Dodge dealer and demand it be honored else you sue Chrysler an arsehole the size of Cleveland?

Thanks for the offer, but can't do black. Home is Vegas, way too dusty and way too hot for black. And I just don't think I'll be happy to get something besides exactly what I ordered. They have a few trucks on the lot, but none are close to my ordered specs. So, we'll see what happens. I fly home tomorrow and will talk to the dealership on Monday or Tuesday.

Sorry to here that man. If it's on a railcar it should come eventually..... Just might have to wait until after the bankruptcy mess is over.

Thatmarkguy,
The lifetime warranty would be a non issue since it is NOT transferable. The only warranty that the second owner would have would be the 36K, 36 month.

The standard lifetime powertrain warranty is not transferrable, however I thought that some of the extended bumper to bumper warranties that were sold were transferrable?

Thatmarkguy, how much was the cover with remote release?
