I contacted billet technology about them and they said the 06-08 would fit but have nothing for the tailgate yet.

 

Here's what I've come up with for 1st initial design for the replacement 2009 tailgate badge. An updated pic will follow.

Final product will be a 3D surface made of T6 Aluminum with an illuminated silhouette. When lit, a (red) glow will be seen around just face of the Decepticon image. Total thickness about 3/8 to 1/2 thick with illumination.

 

Did you guys ever end up going through with the transformer emblems?

 

no... i still hvent got around to sending him my tail gate emblem.. i donbt like the idea of taking mine off and driving around liek that for a month... and i thought about ordering one on ebay and sending that one to him but i cant seem to get one for less than $30

 

Can't you send it to him for a day or so just so he can take measurements? Or even take the measurements yourself. As long as your careful I'm sure the fit will be moderately forgiving.

I replaced the emblem on My Charger through billettechnology.com. I saw samples threw another site cant remember where, then called them telling what I was looking for. They were great to work with and can make almost anything you want. I gave a picture of the emblem before I mounted it. Hope this helps.
