Default A few new mods

Got up early this morning and installed my new grill and put on some piaa's I had from my previous ram. Earlier this week i had the windows tinted too. It's starting to take shape, Next I'm going to pull of the exhaust tips and powdercoat them black.

If you don't have any plans for your chrome inserts, send me a message. I want to get rid of my black inserts...

Can you tell that the PIAAs are partially blocked at night? Does it oddly cut off the light beam?

I havent seen them at night yet, but that was the best possible placement for them.
I had them on the lower rail previously but there is not as much room on the 09. I suppose it could be done but you would probably have to make some custom brackets? Maybe I will tinker with it if the lights look funny at night.

this was my other ram.

Well, let us know when you've driven it at night. I may just get some lights that are smaller in size.

Looks great! The painted grill looks MUCH better. Try and get us a pic of the lights on at night.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. Was your hood sensor in the way on the driver side? Mine was so I had to remove it and tied it down so it always shows the hood is closed. I was going to move it somewhere, but couldn't find a suitable location.

I have mine wired up to come on as the high beams. I have the bi-xenon HID kit and the highs didn't even work as well as the lows, so I have it wired to leave the HID lows on all the time and these come on when I switch to high. Works out pretty well. I used some cheap AutoZone lights initially just to see how it would work behind the grill. But they can't stay in position so I'll be getting some Hellas that will throw better light and have a more secure mount.

I'll try to post some pictures.
