Great pics. Did they have to drill any holes or did they use the existing ones for the flares? Honestly, I'm not sure. I let the dealer do all of the accessory installation. I figured it would all still be covered by the lifetime warranty if I did that so for the $180 extra I let them do the tonneau cover, the muflaps, the hood protector and the step rails. Sorry I couldn't be more helpfull.

 

I bet they can be installed with the existing mounting holes in the flares. I think I will end up ordering a set of these. Thanks again for the detailed pics.

 

I rather just let my truck get dirty than spend the money on mudflaps.

Who makes your tonneau cover? Do you like it? How much? Are there any negatives?

 

It's the OEM Dodge folding cover. It's actually made by Fold-a-Cover for Dodge and is their LS model. I do like it... it's easy to use and seems to be built well. I think it was around $625. No real negatives about it, only thing I could say bad is maybe that it's not 100% waterproof but none I've seen are. Added a little bigger seal at the front of it by the cab to prevent water from coming in that way. Only time it lets water in is when it's just sitting still and even then it's not enough to worry about and is just on the edges.

 

Can it be removed easily?

 

Yes. It has two screws on each side that you undo and then you can easily pick it up and off. Takes all of maybe 5 minutes to pull the screws, if you take your time. It's a nice easy to use cover. I really liked the Roll-n-Lock but couldn't bring myself to drop $1,200 on a tonneau cover. Also, since it's a Dodge cover and was installed by the dealer it's covered under the same warranty as the truck. For me that's added peace of mind.

 

I put mine on this weekend.

 

Could care less about the dirt, but if you drive on gravel roads with no mud flaps it eats the paint right off the truck.

Not to mention $80 is a small price to pay to protect a truck I paid 26K for.
