Mud Flaps
So i brought my truck in for the rapid response stuff and figured id get some of mopar's heavy duty rubber mud flaps and apparently they cant fit them on my truck with the laramie fender flares? they are not the hard molded plastic flaps so i dont see how they dont fit but anyways they are ordering in new fender flares cause they drilled about 20 holes in my truck and no mud flaps! kinda choked. but they did say they were gonna try and bring in a different style so hope they work
20 holes.....new parts man. that is pure stupidity. Hell I had to fix my squeaky running board myself, they said they can't fix it without screwing into my inner rocker. I said leave it, took a few pieces of rubber and got I pushed and pulled while my broinlaw figured out where to shove the rubber pieces. Now no squeaks. Geuss that wasn't in the manual
k well not 20 holes but 11 to be exact. they are ordering new flares so i dont care that much i guess. screwed up one front and one rear. must of thought 'hey dont work on the front might as well try again with the back ones'
The heavy duty rubber ones will fit your truck with no problems. The people installing them will have to cut them just a little bit to make them fit right with the fender flares but they will work. I have them on my TRX4 and they look great and do keep the truck alot cleaner. Also, I think they only had to install 3 or 4 screws each to hold them on, can't believe your dealer drilled 11 holes.
yeah i should have just bought them and installed myself but i figured they have the lift and that it was just be so fast for them to wip the tires of and mount them but really one shouldnt give them that much credit. ill wait and see what they bring in for a different style but i really like heavy duty ones so maybe ill just end up buying them and trimming them like you said
