hey i got 2 questions for the real mechanically inclined.

first off:
what the hell is this for? it goes to the top of my front transfer case. is it suppose to be a sensor? or is it to fill the transfer case up?

I am looking to mount a wind shield washer fluid heater unit on my truck. does anybody know if anything is behind this piece? just need to drill two holes to screw in my mounting bracket. Name:  DSC00192.jpg

The first one is a jet wash nipple and as far as that panel goes just drill no shallower than 12" deep and you'll be fine. Teehee... sorry man no idea.

As for the 2nd question, pop that plastic off above it and see if you can peek in there.

I noticed that tube sticking in the air the other day and was wondering... Figured it was some sort of relief valve...
