Default REN and adding subwoofer.

I pulled the subs out of my old ram and I am ready to put them in my 09. As far as the amp goes, is there a set RCA outs for a sub on the REN radio? I know there is an Alpine sytem with a sub available but is it setup using high impedence wires or low imp RCA jacks. I really don't want to go through the hassle of splicing again.

Don't see one for the REN radio, just REF, REC, RAQ, RAK for 04-08 Chrysler/Dodge veh. Is it compatible for 09 REN?
Jason

Looks like it will work but I don't have the premium ALPINE system installed. I just want to add an amp but don't have time to cut and splice wires, lost intrest in tearing new vehicles apart long ago.

If you use the kicker amp it looks simple comes with wiring etc. I don't know about any older stuff these trucks have high or low buss speeds, not sure exactly but I know it's to do with the electrical.

Subscribed out of curiosity. I do have the Alpine sub, but might one day replace.

Default Simple solutio.

Trust me on this one...If you want to make it easy on yourself with no splicing buy the PAC AOEM-CHR3. It will give you two sets of RCA outs and still allows your factory speakers to play. Another suggestion..Replace the factory 6x9's and put Dynamat behind them in the doors. Makes all the difference in the world. Happy installing.
