I got a letter from Chrysler today. It said Chrysler and Fiat could not work out a deal before going bankrupt, but Chrysler still has a future, blah, blah, blah.

I also got a 1000$ coupon for my next new Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep that expires on 30 Jun. That won't happen! I am not going to trade in the wifey's 2006 loaded Pacifica, nor am I going to trade in my brand new truck.

I wish I could give the coupon to somebody else. Or get 1000$ back for mine or accessories.

 

And the coupon is kind of silly since you get the $1000 owner loyalty rebate with or without it.

yup I got one too. No one I live with is planning on buying a new Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep anytime soon anyway. Too bad we can't cash these bad boys in for some accessories or atleast be able to give it to a friend who does not live with you.

 

That is exactly what I am saying. I could give it to someone on here looking for a new truck.

 

i think the coupn is kind of a reminder.. im nt sure the population at large knows you get $1000 off a new chrysler if you trade yours in..

they prolly sent them to everyone who bought a chrylser/jeep/dodge in the last 5 years or so

 

Just opened the letter up. Kind of funny with a start date of 5/5/09. Just now getting it. Accessories yes. New vehicle? I have to wait and see if this FIAT thing is going to work out. I had a Challenger ordered before the shutdown and dealer told me that it was not going to be built so I said fine. I'm sorry but I went out and bought a.... BMW. I know i'm scum now! Please don't ban me?

 

It was on the news today Minivan plant starts the end of the month.
