Default Dealer Called, Truck is in...

Dealer just called and said my Crew Cab white sport is in. Now the question is what interest rate will I get. I was going to get the 0% from chrysler financial, but they are now out of business.

What is everybody else getting from credit unions?

CU's are the best, some even offer an extra 500-1000 though Dodge now.
As for rates, all depends on how good your credit is, and what they offer. Most CU's publish their auto loan rates.

I got 5.79 for 6 years when I bought mine. total interest paid will be like 2k if I stick to minimum payments. that's like $28 a month over the duration of the loan. As long as your under 7% it's not going to kill you in a short term loan.

Hopefully this means good news for others who have been waiting. See if it has your name on the sticker, or if they found one at a discount from one of the dealers that got axed.

I got 5.1% with Security Service FCU for 72mos. Also got the $1000 cash back. I am switching to Randolph Brooks FCU though this weekend as they will give me 3.8% for 66 months. Jeff.

It has my name on the sticker, been waiting for it since they filled bankruptcy. It was suppose to ship first of the month. Happy to hear it's in, but now a little worried about all this crap going on with bankruptcy, I just hope they come out of it with Fiat, but it sounds like anything could still happen.
