I have been shopping for some winter wheels, actually found some of the original chrome clad like I have they are 350 on Ebay imagine the Dealer. I forgot Bounty didn't have the chrome clad, I have no idea how much they go for, but not cheap I am sure. Like I said especially at the Dealer.
So a buddy at Tire Rack....lucky.
Also, meaning that I avoided border duty/tax/brokerage & the selling/shipping hassle. The majority of cast alloy wheels originate in China, including Forte'. Imagine working conditions/pay in a Chinese foundry...you can bet Chrysler pays less than $99 per wheel. Wonder why the North American economy is in the toilet?
Not one of the smartest comments I heard from somebody who lives on a border town. I have been bringing parts for my 72 chevy and I always declare, most often they let ya go because no duty on auto parts, but you in your situation you might have to pay duty on the whole vehicle because you installed it over the border and made it worth more money. I found this out when I bought a snow plow for a truck, it wasrecommended I put it in the back and install it here because it makes your vehicle worth more and I would have had to pay a duty based on how much the value of the truck went up. I was told wheels and tires also count. Those pics are what 5 blocks from customs LOL
