Newbie Question: Auto Armor
I recently purchased my first (personal) truck: 2009 SLT. It is awesome.
I purchased the environmental protection from my dealership called Auto Armor (it hasn't been applied yet). I thought it was overrated, but decided to get it due to the warranty. The reason I thought I need the protection is because my truck will be outside (no garage) and I have trees which always drop something either liquid or parts- not a good combination. So I would like some input on what you guys think. I want some good protection (UV, trees, birds etc) and Auto Armor seemed to provide that.
Or, is there products that offer protection that is comparable that I can apply myself and still get the protection I need to keep the truck looking good. I have heard good things about Zaino products as far as looks are concerned, but am unsure how well it protect to outside conditions
Thanks in advance.

I practically live in the woods, never garage any vehicle, and never had a problem. If sap or something does fall on your vehicle take it off, just don't wait a year (prob wouldn't matter anyway), and you'll be fine.
Try Ice Wax so easy you can do it in the sun, and it doesn't leave white marks. good for plastic,,,everything accept the glass. It is not a once a year thing maybe twice, once in spring after a good clay bar clean up, then once in fall as late as you can go or if you have a heated garage, anytime before winter.
