How do you display Fuel Used?
Hi All,
Just wondering if anybody knows where is the fuel or instance mileage digital display? The 2009 Laramie has every gage except the one telling me how much fuel I used during a road trip. Even my old 2003 olds has both gages!
Any hacks or engineering mode to enable this?
1. Fuel counter (digital Fuel Gage) example: 10.1 liters used
2. Instance fuel economy
Truck has everything other gage, so I known it there.... how else does it get average fuel economy.
Thanks, Richard

I don't know of a way to make the current evic provide the data you are looking for. You may want to look at scanguage.com or dashhawk.com. Scanguage may give you the info you are looking for and around $159. Dashhawk.com is more expensive. Take a look, one of those may meet your need.
Uh-oh:
Not sure what you are getting at. I saw nothing uncalled for. It was an answer of the evic does not show the info and to (I guess) hand calculate the gas usage. When I read it I did not see any unfriendly attack on the original poster. Thought your statement to put a lid on 'Albert' was uncalled for.

Checked my friends 2008.5 Jeep Cherokee diesel... same thing no fuel used or instance for fuel. Just average, must be a Chrysler thing.
BTW, does anybody known how many KM/Miles the average is based on?
Average over 100km or 1000km or forever?
Thanks, Richard
