DRL use the High Beams (modulated to lower output), which are not as frequently used for normal nighttime driving. And the Running and Foglights are not activated. So there is a difference than simply turning Headlights On.
I would like the option - as an option configurable thru EVIC rather than the Dealership.

Oh well, I got my oil changed at the dealership today and I asked them about the possibility of activating the DRL. They looked into it for me after the oil change and said they could not see where it could be an option to turn on with their computer. They told me it might just be something to do with the country code designation.

It was worth a try, although maybe I should just give it a little more time for them to learn somethings about these trucks before launching questions like these at the poor service techs. If any of you have any luck with your dealership please let me know.
