That is not a warranty item due to damage if they call for the radiator back for inspection and they have on any part I have changed on a 09 Ram , they are setting themselves up for a charge back the factory denies the claim and the dealer will not get paid this is not real smart on there part. This should have been a insurance claim for damage.

I agree with you with what we know its not a warranty issue. However, we don't know, maybe the dealer felt they have made enough profit in total sales that if it comes back they can eat the costs. By doing so they have one happy customer who may use them in the future for service or buying another vehicle.

without getting into a whole another bag of worms. long story short i recently had them buy back a different car after the motor blew at 200 miles. 30 days later with no motor in it someone tried to steal it in their parking lot. so after 5 days with my new ram do you think they felt kind of obligated to fix it? lol

Not right, makes the whole quality issue stats come out wrong. Just like they are complaining about the amount of people laid of collecting EI here, well every car company is closed, vendors, suppliers, even the restaurants and bars near by some are at least less hours.
We should be showing how good the quality is, now is this something that we are all going to experience should there be a screen developed to keep stuff out from where/however yours got damaged.
I am not a fan of warranty, insurance or any other type fraud really. Sometimes there is that fine line I agree but right now we should be defining the lines clearer so for once the right information gets as Jethro would say "conjugated" and the right answers come out.

Good thing nobody from Chrysler looks and monitors our feelings about our trucks and get the real info here.

72combo. so you are saying it is WRONG for a dealership to use money out of their pocket to fix my truck? i never said they were fixing it under warranty. they just said it wasnt a warranty issue but they were fixing it anyway. i never implied they were making a waranty claim.

so their is no "scamming" going on by the dealership or myself. they are just trying to save what dying customer base is left.....
