Question cruise control in the 09 1500

Does anyone's cruise drop mph? Mine seems to have a hard time maintaining a speed.

Mine works just fine. On the 07 Jeep I just got rid of it would drop up to 6 or 7 mph before it would kick down to passing gear. I hated it. The 09 Ram might drop 1 mph on steep grades, but all in all, nope.

This actually is the best vehicle for cruise control I have ever had, pisses me off that it works so good because the ones not using or that don't work good make me have to take mine off. Never fails, now with the HEMI I just mash it, it kicks in so hard at 60 mph it scares me, next thing ya know that guy is not even in the mirror. In Ontario Canada here we have new laws...to curb racing can get up to 10 grand fine. They have racing and some other one like careless but worse you lose you license for sometime and you car for 10 days or something if any other Ontarians..not from Cal. but Canada know the new rules exactly let me know.

Well for starters which engine do you have? It will not help you out at all knowing how good the cruise is with a HEMI if that is not what you have.

I might have to try mine out. I had a 99 Ranger that I bought new, found out 3 years later that the cruise control had been disabled at the dealership before I bought it because they were waiting for recall parts.
