their are 3 sound levels.

We at Mufflex offer the kit in 3 varieties depending on you taste for sound;
#1 DOD14M = Aggressive. #2 DOD18M = Moderate. #3 DOD24M = Mellow.

Sound level (scale from 1 to 10) 1 being the lowest and 10 being the loudest.

im not sure which one to get. i dont want to get pulled over by the cops cause of a really loud exhaust, or wake the baby up while driving.lol..

im thinking maybe the moderate? anyone have suggestions?

 

go on you tube there are lotsa demonstrations of rams with the various sounds of the magnaflow..mufflex.

 

get the 14 incher... make it sound bad ***..

if you dont you'll end up regretting it.. people usually do..

when i had my f150 i was upset i ONLY got 22s... thats why when it came around for the ram.. i got 24s...

if you get an exhaust to make it sound loud and kewl.. obviously youll be upset if you spend $300 and its just slightly different from stock.

go all out and dont be scared!

 

i think ill go with the 14 after hearing some youtube clips. absolute worst case scenerio if its unbearable is to sell it on here..

 

14 is not bad at all. Of course sound level likes/dislikes vary from person to person.

 

it doesnt sound to obscene from the sound clips i have heard. especially when just driving by. thats mostly what im concerned about. to me, its to freaking loud when your just cruising and you can really, really notice from the outside. even the 14 didnt give me that impression..

 

go with the 14 i'm in NY and there is never too much noise, but not a annoying noise.

 

I got the 18, good balance not to loud.
