Good deal. I was looking at a SRT8 Charger a couple of years back when we bought our mini-van, and the dealer said that it only came with a 3/36. The torque management probably does more to save the driveline than a slushy tc anyway.

I am stopping by my dealer on the way home tonight to talk to the service manager about it.

I need to know costs as well if they do it will they honor all my warranty coming to me. Which if they install a Mopar part they should.

Here is a shocker... I talked to two people about the swap, they had no clue. One even said Ram R/T, no such thing. I need to call tomorrow and talk to the service manager or foreman, they will be the ones to figure it all out. The other person I talked to at least talked intelligently stating it was probably more than the converter (computer flash, ect).

It amazes me how some dealers have no clue about the products they sell and service.

My question would be Ram R/T - why? If you want a hotrod, buy a charger or challenger. A hopped up standard cab pickup with big wheels on it is as useless as a slammed honda with a fart can muffler.

Do they come with a set of chrome truck nutz?

Yeah, I kind of figured that's the response you'd get. I'm very interested if you do happen to find anyone who knows what it's all about!

If I got an R/T, it would have staggered wheel sizes, be lowered, have the hood, and be a street truck.

But then again, I need the room of the crew.

What can I say, I like to drive cars (and trucks) that have a little extra.

Depending on the cost (and if it can be done) this could be perfect, a boost with factory warranty covering it.

Not after what I have in my SRT, just something a little more to play with on occasion that can still be my DD and still haul goods in the bed as well as pull the Viper if I ever need to.
