I have the 3:92 LSD MPG average is 15.8 at 189 miles total so far. All of this is back road driving to this point. I have jumped on it a few times, but nothing too severe. My '03 Hemi QC identical setup averaged 14.2 MPG under the same conditions. I am happy with the gains I have seen so far, I guess the true test will be when I hook up the boat and compare.

I would not worry about mileage numbers until you have at least 5000 miles on the truck.

Very true, but even new i am showing an improvement over the '03 Hemi. Any improvements from this point will just be added satisfaction for purchasing this model.

It should have 3.55 unless you have the anti-spin diff option then it would have 3.92.

I agree. I have the 3.92's as well. I only got 11 MPG at first, though it was >30* outside and I drive very short trips. Now I get 12-13 in the city on the short trips.

My Hemi 4x4 with 3.92 and 20" wheels after 1100 miles averaging 13 MPG, Hand calculated. And that's 90% city driving.

Still need to do a long trip to check highway mileage.

The best I have gotten, 100% highway at 75 mph, was 17.5 mpg. That is with 17" wheels.

MDS was never on.

I have a 4.7L 4x4 Quad with 3.92's and pretty much do all stop and go town driving, 3 miles might be my longest non-stop stretch. I get 16-16.5 consistently and I am no slow poke. Now when I am really in a hurry I drop down to about 15. Worst I ever got on a tank was 14.5mpg, and that was partially due to cheap gas (Wawa). When I take highway trips my mpg jumps to about 17.5, best I have got thus far is 18.5mpg. There is 2900 Miles on the truck. I am very impressed with the power of the new 4.7, I don't regret not getting a Hemi.
