Anyone know of a place to buy a tailgate seal for a 2009 Ram? I was suprised to see that it doesn't come from the factory with one. My 02 F150 had one so I figured it was standard practice now.

 

Don't know if they actually make them for the ram, but you can find all kinds of gasket in McMaster Carr. They are very discriptive of their product. just type seal or gasket into their search engine and you can narrow the search by selecting different options. hope this helps

 

my 02 f150 didnt have a tailgate seal and it was bought new,also it was a king ranch which was fords top line,might of been an dealer option or it was added aftermarket.no one i know with a truck had one from the factory they all used the universal ones

 

Mine was an 2wd XLT extended cab. Rubber seals on the sides of the tailgate itself and they were factory.

I have yet to see a factory tailgate seal from any domestic manufacturer...
