Default Hose Placement

Does anybody have a picture of the front of the bed without a bedliner. I think i may need to drill 7/8 hole through bedliner to find exit point for tubing. Thanks

i dont have a picture but i can give you some measurements later. just for conversation sake. their are 2" holes on each side of the bed in the front. "roughly" about 2-3" off the floor and about 10" back from the front of the bed. i will give you exact measurements later so you can drill through the cover.

I have the factory bedliner, and there were opening where there is tie down hooks, this is where I routed them. Also I have the G2, and I have D hooks underneath, so I don't think that is really an indication. if you can weigh it I beleive the G2 is like 40lbs where the HD is 50-60lbs....

Why do you have to open the cover to close the tailgate?

you have to open cover because the bakflip hangs over the tailgate and it would break it if it was closed.

I believe the HD is a little lighter than the G2.

Ok, I'm confused. The release for the backflip is under the cover correct? And you have to open the tailgate to get to it don't you?

Watched this video and I think I see what you mean. The cover is sagging so bad in the middle that the tailgate might hit it, even though you can open the tailgate with the cover shut.

I'm starting to wish I would gone with my first thought and ordered the diamondback. I think it's funny that in that video they picked a guy who must be 5ft 5in tall 120 lbs to bounce up and down on the cover - which is flexing like crazy. My 12 year old is bigger than that guy

Guess I'll see when it gets here, but if it a G2 box shows up with nothing saying that it is an HD - it's going back as a mis order.

The UPS tracking info I have says that it weighs 65lbs. Oddly I received tracking info for a USPS package as well but no detail on what it is/how much it weighs.

ok bed hole measurements. 2-1/2" inches from the front of the bed back to center.

16" from the top of the bed rail to center of hole . the hole is 1" in diam.
