Angry squeaking seats

Anybody else getting irritated by their squeaking drivers seat?

I can't pinpoint what it sounds like but when I shift my weight left to right its pretty darned annoying.

Just wondering if I'm alone...I've got the leather heated/cooled option in my Laramie.

I plan on taking it in next week some time and have them do some RRT's along with looking at the seat.

I don't have leather seats, but there was a Rapid Response on that for mine. They did some lubing of the seat when I was in for some other RR's and I've had no squeek since.

i have the sport package with leather trim, but no heat ... my build is march of 2009 ... when i bought the truck i assumed the rapid response was done on it but the seat started to squeek a couple weeks afterwards.. i started driving it 5-2-09 .. and have 1750 miles on it so far .. it started to squeek at roughly 1000 miles and has since gone away .. i guess it worked itself in ?? if it starts up again ill take it in .. it was getting really annoying ..

Hey whats up?
Well I just hit 1,000 miles on the truck and the drivers seat has been knocking and making noise... Any of you guys take your truck in for this? What did they say,, I guess this is a common problem with the drivers seat.. I just have cloth seats and it does it.. Dodge should fix this right??,, because its a annoying sound when the rest of the truck is tip top.

thanks guys..
Jeff

They told me that on my seat there was a cross support or something that was not lubed at the factory, that is why is squeaked going into turns on me. They lubed it - problem gone.

There is no rapid response for the seat in the laramie. That one is for the lower models, the squeaking from the laramie heat/cool seat is from the fan for the ventilation rubbing on a bracket, it needs to be ziptied out of the way if you want the sound gone before they come out with a tsb on it.

My seats are cloth with no electric power to it, so i guess my seats are the ones with the rapid responce.. just a little confused because from what i hear from this thread is that tomorrow i need to call a dealer to fix my seat......?
