Sking, all I can say is check every plug you can. Push on them to make sure they are all connected. Check under the hood and crawl underneath. I will try to get a specific one for you to check tonight.

Check the PCM Plugs. Push them in all of the way.


Check this plug, the highlighted one.

Checked what I could tonight. I will pull the cover off in the morning and check the short runner plug. Everything feels loose.

Default Please dont try to fix this yourself

a little knowlege can be bad.

There is a TSB you need to bring it in and ask to have a level 4 engine prefromence tech work on your truck tell them you have p1004 code and there is a TSB # 18-016-09 on this issue

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the Short Runner Valve (SRV), SRV connector, wiring
pigtail, and adding a new stud for a tie strap.
MODELS:
2009 (DS) Ram Truck (1500)
2009 (DH) Ram Trucks (1500/2500)
2009 (DC) Cab Chassis (3500)
NOTE: This bulletin applies to 2009 vehicles equipped with a 5.7L engine (Sales
code EZC, EZD or EZH) built before January 22, 2009 (MDH0122XX).

Not going to fix a thing. The truck is in the shop and will call them first thing in the morning with this info. Thanks ALL for your help.
