Google "venturi effect" and "burnouli's principle". The spacers aren't just spacers they increase velocity of the air by creating a vortex. This in turn increases fluid density and a cooler air charge. It's sound in principle but I'd have to see dyno and air/fuel efficiency figures before I spend $125 to see if it truely works.

I've been wondering about the XDI since I got it a month ago. I have an uncle that owns a shop with a dyno, IF I can get some time in between transferring to my new duty station I will drive to Cali and prove it once and for all!!
