I had a long talk with the service manager..the one over the shop.
We talked about the ECU and ESP.
Yes, Its like other ECU's. Disconnect the battery and the ECU will relearn paramters such as AF ratio. You must disconnect the battery for a CAI install. I did it again for the exhaust mod...thats me.
Also asked about any programming he could do.
I know the service manager well.
There is nothing he could could do to the Ram..and he is pretty sharp.
Only program they have is the Police tune for the Dodge Charger. Will not work in our trucks. Just so you know.
....Diablo sent me 45 to 60 days out today..estimate...again. Got that same e-mail 1/09.

K&N is going to use my truck for their new CAI soon so I'll be sure to show the dyno numbers as soon as I get them.

Must be some important people on here that all these companies using your truck for guinea pigs. Okay I understand you get your old stuff back and a new setup. Now if for some reason they blow it up on the dyno did you have to sign a waiver saying you are screwed? How does it all work?

umm... as long as your not pouring sand in your engine (read: being distructive) your lifetime warranty wll cover things.

say if you buy a tv.... it has a one year warranty... you take it home and leave it on for 9 straight months... it breaks.. they fix it.

now if you buy a tv... take it ot the parking lot and drop it.. your out

if i go make ten passes at the drag strip and my tranny breaks.. thats thier fault.. i get a new tranny

doing a dyno run is not distructive... just cause you rev your engine to 5000-6000 a few times a day doesnt mean your being distructive.

Depends - the warranty specifically says that racing voids the warranty

Airaid's intake looks nice, but the new tube running to the TB looks smaller than the stock tube.

And I guess our computer is really being a pain for both AEM and K&N.
