I think it will stay the same untill the next generation model is interduced, since it takes several years to design a new model that would mean starting now, Honda has said that they are nearly at the new fuel standards with their cars but the pickups will have to be completely redesigned smaller and lighter, I foresee a big engine around the currant 4.7 with about a 273 rearend, guttless in other words

2010 2500 and 3500 are supposed to have the new body style.

2010 1500 is supposed to be available as a hybrid and with a v8 diesel

I believe that whatever goes into production was planned to be there a number of years before, that is why this truck is so nice, I believe it was developed together with American and German engineers. I still don't understand the idea of 16 spark plugs and having to change them 4 x sooner than most cars?

2 spark plugs per cylinder provides a more efficient fuel burn. Back in the 80's many Jap cars were designed with this method. They found out that by using 2 spark plugs like that, they could get away with out a CAT.
You shouldn't have to change all that quick. Only like either the top or bottom plugs. One row fires twice the amount of times as the other.

lol its funny that you say that. when I got my used 03 I laughed my **** off thinking the original owner was a fool for letting the new gen HEMI go. I even then thought this will one day be a collectors item. here we are in 09 and even through this tough crap chrysler has gone through, the HEMI is still here. point is, its become to big of a selling point, its going no where. plus im not gonna be driving a fiat ram. to many bad images come out of that

There's no confirmation of the hybrid or diesels in the 1500. I heard they were on hold.
