Dang! Sorry to hear about the truck. Someone ran into the back of my chevy truck (1500) last yr with a ford (f150)....creamed the ford. Did about 2500 in damage to mine, nothing big. I drove off and she got a ride to the ER. Hence the reason for the new Ram...wanted a new Ram anyway after I saw it. Glad you're not hurt. Like they said, its a truck. The dents, dings and scratches are character

That is too bad about your truck and I'm glad you're OK. I know what you are saying about the tow package though. A teenaged girl rear ended my wife when she was driving my 95 Grand Cherokee (quite a few years back) and we had a rear tow hitch on that vehicle. The teenage girl was driving a small toyota turd car. She hit the Grand right square in the open receiver hitch and did absolutely zero damage to the Jeep. Her toyota turd car however had several hundred dollars worth of damage to her front plastic bumper and hood. Since that day, I make sure I have tow packages on any truck or SUV I own. You never know when they might come in handy!

I might invest in a 'Superbumper' exactly for situations like this.

The web site was hacked last week and is now fixed.

If you have any questions concerning the Superbumper or Sparebumper just let me know.

I don't normally get involved in forums or blogs but I just wanted to let you know the site is operational.
