Default OEM RAM 1500 ST wheel swap question

New member here: Great forum! Lots of great info! Used the search function but could find the answer to this simple question. Can you put OEM 09 Lariat or SLT 20" wheels on a base model ST equiped with 17" steel wheels? I think the bolt patterns are the same on all these models, right?

I like these!

Thanks for the info, Ryan. So I guess you can put any 09 OEM wheel on any model since they all have the same bolt pattern, right? Seems pretty straight forward except I've never dealt with a tire pressure monitor before.

Might need to get the lugs that came with the aluminum wheels. Usually the lug nuts are different for steel wheels and aluminum wheels. (I'm assuming you have the base steel wheels on your ST now)

Question

Thank for heads-up on the lugs. How about swapping the tire pressure monitors? Is that a big deal?

They will fit, but you will need to get the speedo re-calibrated.

Should get the speedo recalibrated. Otherwise you just need to know how much it's off and be aware when speeding, I mean driving.

Default TPMS Sensors

If the wheels you get have tires, they'll probably have the sensors on them. Otherwise just swap them out. The only problem will be you'll have to take the tires off the wheels to switch them.
