Hail Damage to Truck
So I went and got a quote for all of my damage. $2200. The hood does need to be repainted, but not replaced. I asked if they could get the Challenger hood and paint that instead and they said that would be $900 extra (to cover extra blending and painting of the underside). Thoughts? Is that too much? Do I really need to paint the underside?

I got hail damage to my truck about 2 weeks ago,we had golfball size hail and I got about 15 assorted dings in my new to me 2006 QC and I had $100 comprehensive deducatble,I got an estimate from a PDR guy throuh my brother in laws body shop,it came out to roughly $2000 in damage,I'm getting the big dings repaired and putting the rest of the money toward new wheels and tires. The way I see it, if I have to look just right to see the ding I would much rather have the very noticable look of sweet new wheels and tires and live with a few tiny almost undetectable dings.
Yeah, we'll have to see if Travelers just cuts me a check or how it works...
But I had a shingle come off the roof and hit my truck, scratching the driver's door, the pillar, the windshield and the hood. That's where most of my damage is.

Boy I was lucky I didnt head to Austin till Friday morning for the ROT Rally! I went ahead and towed my bike in back of the pickup. It would have been my luck I would have been on the bike in the middle of it all and my truck would have probally gotten it also!!
So I took the truck by Maxwell Collision on the way home from work and they said they'd do the challenger style hood for only $50 extra. That sounds much better to me. Now I need to find the cheapest place to buy the hood.
