Default Another new guy...

I wanted to introduce myself in these forums as they will be my primary nesting place fom here on out. Anywho, the names Matt, C-130 Crew Chief in the Air Force and a proud new owner of an 09 Ram! I'm crossing over over from the Light truck category(Ford Ranger to be exact *dodges vegetables*) as I felt the need to own me a big truck!

Ive got the 4.7L 2WD Crew Cab ST, I wanted a 5.7 and 4WD but alas they were out of my price range. Plus the dealer offered me 12 grand of MSRP so I though I'd jump on it!

I'm in awe of how much this truck has to offer, its the best vehicle I have ever owned and will hold onto it as long as she's still kicken!

Now for the mods, I haven't done anything yet, but I plan on bigger wheels, new exhaust and fog lights to start off. I really like the look of the Big Horn bumper and fog lights so I'll see if I cant find myself a Big Horn OEM bumper online somewhere. I'll have to wire in some new Fog lights though since the baseline ST doesn't offer them.(At least mine)

For a base version my Ram still has an amazing interior, part of the reason I liked the truck so much, but I still enjoy all the neat little features of the SLT/Sport/Laramie editions. I'd like to do a few select upgrades of my interior to more match the more expensive models....chrome trim here and there, maybe swap the center storage unit to the double version, Leather Seats, etc

The possibilities are endless, I'm so happy to have entered the Dodge truck market!

Don't worry the 4.7 is plenty for these trucks unless your towing something heavy.

I'd agree with you. They have really jacked up the HP in the 4.7L. At least there is a huge difference from my old '04 Dak with 4.7L.

The STs are very nice for bases, nicest stripped truck I've ever seen. Love mine.
