Default A+ for the Mufflex-Performance crew.

Just a BIG thanx to Denny and the crew over at Mufflex-Performance.
I ordered the DOD14M muffler late last week, He was extremely professional to deal with, his price is more than fair, and it just arrived today.
In less than 1 hour the stock one was off and the mufflex muffler was on.
Everything fit perfectly, and my truck now sounds like a truck should.
I just can't wait for it to burn out a little so she gets a little louder yet.
It now has a very distinct deep rumble, which works out perfectly with the tinted windows.
The only problem I have now is that my wife wants one for her 09 Ram as well.
Ahh life is good

Yeah the Mufflex crue is awesome. I just got my DODS14 installed tonight. Took me about 20 min or so from start to finish. All I needed was a 15mm deep socket and that was it. Did not have to break out the air wrench or any of the heavy tools.

Love the sound now.

Wish I could, don't have a video camera yet. Not trying to hijack the thread but could any of you guys recommend a good video camera for web video's that wont break the bank.. Would rather spend money on mods for the ram.

How is the inside cabin noise at say 60-70 mph?

On a scale from 1-10, how much louder is it in cab?

I don't mind cabin drone, just curious thats all!

It really is not that bad, I would say that on a scale of 1-10 and 1 being stock the in cabin noise is maybe a 4 or 5. It's when you hit the go pedal that the magnaflow comes alive.

I also have a head cold and my ears were plugged up on the way to work today.. Made me mad, first day of new exhaust and I could not really hear very well. I will report back tomorrow after my next drive and fill you in.

Heck no, I did mine in around 20-25 min max. My truck only has 700 miles on it but I really don't think you would have any problems. After taking off the tail pipe I gave the muffler a couple of good yanks then decided to give it a kick. worked like a charm!

Don't sweat the install, the mufflex kit is easy as pie and sounds killer.
