Here you go. I think this will work. This is the hood when it was getting painted. It's hard to tell in the picture that there are no holes in the plastic covers. There's gridding, but it's a solid piece.

Hey Doc. Glad to hear you've got the green light to mod! Congrats.

Sobo.....here is another pic. I'm at work and this is is all I have right now. You should be able to see just a portion of the vent, but it describes what I was trying to say.

Well it looks like it should be no problem to remove those. I will definitely be doing that. I'm not sure if I want some mesh yet.

Must be nice.... I just had to have to the whole hood repainted thanks to a storm, so I figured it was a good time to get this hood.

Yeah looks like it wouldnt be a problem to remove, I reckon it would also be a good idea to put some sort of mesh in it as to keep the engine from drowning out if it rained on you and also keep it from getting all dusty and dirty when it was dry.

PS Nice paint job there JVCougar, I'd like to see some pics of your whole truck...................HD

So is the Challenger hood aluminum or steel? A magnet would tell the truth quickly.

Looks like it would be a real bitch to make it "Ram Air"

Your hood really looks great. I like the subtle flames in it. Are the black strips painted or decal? If painted, did any decals come with the hood?
