Default airbags

I have a 2009 1500 laramie,I installed airlift 1000 air bags in the coil springs, this does not give enough support when my 5th wheel is on the truck,is there anyone else who has had this problem, and if so what did you do to rectify it.

sounds like your way overloaded, I would say short of a 3/4 ton, going with a different spring

I think these coil springs are great for the ride but terrible for supporting the weight

Do they even recommend towing a 5th wheel with an 09 1500?

They don't say you can't, but there's very few 5th wheel trailers whose hitch weights would allow it.

Wow, in my state, they see you with a 5th wheel on a 1/2 ton truck the troopers will pull you off the road and make you unhook and get a truck rated for it to come get it, and hit you with some hefty fines.
Not to mention if you have an accident, your insurance will leave you high and dry for being overweight.

The 1000s are way too low capacity for you, you should have gotten the Ride Rites (2000s') which I have or even the 5000s...

Making multiple topics on the same issue won't get you more answers, just annoyed people. Seems like your having trouble because 1500's are not meant to tow most 5th wheels out there.

i've heard of this happening quite often where i'm from in Tx, it's dangerous. Did a shop recommend the 1000's? Maybe you can exchange because of their mistake...
