Well, you haven't really given us any details - weight and specs of the 5th-wheeler; or conditions that you feel are unacceptable...

Default tow info

I am towing a fifth wheel with a 1400 lb tongue weight, this is my fourth dodge ram 1500,and all the other trucks supported the pin weight well with helper springs, but now with the coils I cant use the helper springs. The only air bags I can find fit in the coils and have a 1000 lb rating. I was wanting to know if there was anything out there that would work better or would load levelling shocks work with the air bags. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Airride has airbags that completely replace the rear coil. The guy said theyre not supposed to say but they can hold 3000lbs each.

Doesn't matter what springs you put on it, it's still overloaded. hopefully you never get in an accident.

Sell 1500 and buy 2500. It's not a smartass comment, it's reality. You don't send a 1/2 ton to do the work of a bigger truck. The fact that you have overloaded previous trucks and got away with it isn't really relevant to your current problem.

Don't buy a truck with the suspension from a minivan. There really isn't much you can't do with the rear suspension on the 09 without spending the money for a custom setup.
